Standard 5% VAT applies to all taxable services unless specifically zero-rated (exports, certain healthcare/education) or exempt (financial services, residential property). No reduced rates exist in UAE VAT system.

Businesses with taxable supplies/imports exceeding AED 375,000 past 12 months must register within 30 days. Foreign businesses supplying UAE remotely also register above AED 375k without threshold exemption.
